The hard drive survives, as does a full back up on a separate drive, and both can be accessed when my new computer arrives. The computer on which I installed Free Draftsight, and which held all my drawings, crashed recently. I will search as you suggest now I wonder if I am going to have another special problem. It was announced unilaterally, so a unilateral response would be in order. I can't be the only user to be left between a rock and a hard place. I am shocked that the good folks at Dassault could not find the time to inform users by an email well in advance of the new program they were rolling out.

I have one or two Win OS systems on various hard drives for example, Profili2 will not run in Linux and the resolution is poor in Wine, which is the Windows emulator. Then when you boot the computer, you can choose which one you want at the time.
